The Wakey Wakey (Back in Time for Eggs and Bakey) Ride Out

Come and join ABR Festival founder Alun on a short ride through the Cotswolds early on Saturday morning of the festival.

If yoga and trail running ain’t for you…

At last year’s festival, we had Will from ABR offering early morning trail runs on the TRF Trail, Kate leading yoga workouts from the Himalayan Masterclass Stage, Elissa starting the day with breathwork sessions, and the rest of us, er, recovering from the night before.

So, for 2026, I thought what better way to scatter the cobwebs than to have an early morning ride out through the glorious Cotswolds.

We’ll head off at 7:30am sharp on Saturday 27 June, leaving from the all-vehicle check-in for a circular 42-mile route, entirely on road, with the aim of being back at Ragley for brekkie.

The Route

We’ll leave Ragley Hall and join the dual carriageway to Evesham, then onto the Cotswolds town of Broadway, where we’ll take on the serpentine Fish Hill that climbs onto the Cotswolds escarpment.

From the top of Fish Hill we head to the picturesque village of Chipping Campden and back down off the escarpment to Mickleton, then on to historic Stratford-upon-Avon, where Shakespeare himself has agreed to get up early and wave us through, before a short hop back to Ragley.

42 miles, just over an hour, back at the Fest before 9am. We’ll ride together where we can, but in case anyone gets separated, there are three ways to follow the route:
