Are you thinking of joining us at the ABR Festival but you don’t want to come alone?

Well, you’ll be in good company –  1 in 5 ABR festival-goers come to the event by themselves.

But they don’t stay that way for long. We’re well known as one of the friendliest festivals around, so you’ll be sharing drinks and swapping stories with other bikers in no time.

We’ve heard time and time again of people who’ve ridden in solo, only to return in future years with the mates they’ve made at the ABR. And that’s what it’s all about.

To dig a little bit deeper, we reached out to our community on social media to ask what it’s like being at ABR as a solo rider – here’s what they had to say…

I did my first visit solo last year, loved every minute of it. Within minutes of arriving was chatting away with the guys next to me as I set my tent up and that’s pretty much how the whole weekend went. Wherever you go you’ll always end up talking to someone.

I rode solo to the ABR festival last June. I stayed two nights camping. It was such a friendly atmosphere. In fact the best I’ve ever experienced. Just make the effort, you will not be disappointed. Great food, nice camping area, decent toilets & showers. Plus brilliant entertainment & sunshine.

Went solo last year and it was my first ABR too! Really good fun, everyone around where I camped was friendly and chatty. It was great because we were all there for one reason and that’s what brought us together.

I went by myself last year. Camped next to a fellow insta biker friend who knew some people going and I also made friends with the campers on the other side of my tent. So I was never really alone. I have already booked my ticket for next year & will hopefully do the same again, meeting up with friends made last year and making more friends! Roll on Abr 2025! 🎉

Only on their own until they get there…then it’s one big family 🙌

There are many more stories of people who’ve bought a ticket and travelled to the festival on their own, but the common theme in every experience is how warm a welcome each rider has enjoyed, and how they’ve very quickly become part of a unique festival community.

Don’t just take our word for it, join the official ABR Festival 2025 Facebook Group and you can find out for yourself.
