When it comes to choosing your next bike, there’s an awful lot to weigh up.
You can spend weeks comparing spec sheets and tech upgrades, as well as trawling the internet for reviews from the press and everyday riders.
But all of this will count for nothing until you’ve thrown your leg over and test ridden the contenders on your list.
What if your number one choice is only available at a dealership over 100 miles away? What if number two can only be found at the opposite end of the country from number one?
Then there are the bikes you hadn’t considered in the first place. They could prove to be even better, but you’ll never know because you didn’t get a chance to get up close and personal with them.
Put simply, conducting meaningful test rides to ensure your hard-earned money is going to bring you the best bike you can get for your buck is a major logistical challenge.
Unless of course you make your way to the ABR Festival at Ragley Hall this June.

Every major bike manufacturer in the world will be onsite with a fleet of their machines ready for you to test ride. That’s as many bikes as you can handle, ridden on as many test rides as you can book in during your weekend.
You’ll also get the chance to put these bikes through their paces both on and off road, as we’ve created the dedicated Dunlop Test Ride Loop within the festival’s off-road trails.
You won’t need to have a Trail Pass to get access, and because it’s only open to manufacturers, you won’t have to contend with as many other riders.
This leaves you free to make the most of your demo, and come to a more informed decision when choosing your next bike.
